Meet the Logitech Brio

We have been lucky enough to use the Logitech BRIO for our video and audio and need to mention that this is in an open plan office, we have also done a quick visual comparison with the Logitech C920.

Brio vs C920 office lighting

The Logitech Brio is the world’s most technologically advanced webcam intended for use with a notebook PC, sitting on a standard PC display or mounted on a tripod for recording and streaming applications.

It has some pretty impressive specs – 4K Ultra HD Video Calling, Plug and Play USB Connectivity – via USB Type-C connection on the webcam supporting USB 2 type A but USB 3 is required for 4k, 5x Digital Zoom in Full HD, Autofocus, Rightlight 3 with HDR which means that you will look better even in poor lighting and Built-in Dual Omni-directional Mics with Noise Cancellation.

Like most exciting, new technology you will need to make sure that your PC or MAC meets the system requirements for optimal performance and you will need a bit of time for initial setup to make sure you have the latest firmware as well as the camera software and to configure Windows Hello but after that you are good to go.

The Brio retails for $299.95 AUD, has a 3 year limited warranty and multiple mounting options for easy installation.
